Lady Kaye in Lingerie

My City By Night requested a lingerie shoot for a Monday Mooiness feature in January, this is what Kass and I came up with:

This lingerie shoot was heaps of fun, and definitely something I would love to do again. If you enjoyed these images, and would like to help me grace the pages of FHM/ win a playstation 3/accompany the winner to a FHM photoshoot vote here. Simply type “Samantha Laura Kaye” into the box along with any other girl you would like to support and smile in the knowledge that you’ve helped me get one step closer to bringing you more good images like these and yourself closer to that playstation/model wrangling.

Asara

These beautiful images were taken by Robert Miller for Asara Wine Estate & Hotel.

Arctic Circle, who are currently managing Asara’s brand strategy, approached Miller and together they developed  concepts, themes and colour palettes that represent the Asara and the luxuries within.

This shoot was done using exclusively MAC makeup and Loreal hair products an a ghd styler. I kept the makeup to a neutral colour palette, blotting off lipstick and contouring her eyes and face with subdued gentle tones. I used a ghd to create pin-curls which I left in for the duration of the makeup application before releasing the clips.

I am not one of those people.

Immune to the “world cup fever” I have no shame in saying I STILL have no interest in soccer… and the thought of being in a room full of vuvuzelas scares me as much as being in a room full of screaming women and homosexuals at a Spring Versace/Louis Vuitton/Jimmy Choo fashion show (if South Africa would ever be so blessed as to host such a thing)… [ Read more ]
