Rick Nunn – Project 50 – Milk & Honey

50 photographs – over 50 consecutive days – all shot with a 50mm lens = Project 50. 100% awesome.

Rick is one of my favourite photographers, though he regards himself as a designer with a passion for photography rather than a professional photographer. If you take a look at his Flickr and his website you might take my side and view him as the camera wielding guru I do.

2011 sees Rick working on his third project 50, and I was lucky enough to be invited to take part as the subject matter for day 11.

Revìvere

Revìvere - “to live again” is a series of portraits celebrating style from the 1920’s to the 1960’s. The dolls are unwrapped and brought back to life. The project was the brainchild of Bisera, brought further to life by the large and wonderful team:

Main Make-up Ingredients: MAC: Apply Strobe Cream – to give the skin radiance, the buff Studio Fix Fluid -( in my experience it’s the longest wearing of MAC’s foundations which makes it ideal for brides) into the skin with a stippling brush (I like the #187). Apply “Shroom” to the inner corners of the eye,vanilla” under the brow bone, “French Grey” to the crease, “All that glitters” to the ball of the eye and “embark” along the lashline with an angle brush. Fuzz a little extra of embark into the outer edges of the crease. Gently exaggerate the line of the eye with “blacktrack” fluidline. Set the brows with clear brow gel, and then gently fill them in with an angle brush and an eyeshadow like “brun”, gently dust some “strada” (matt) blush under the cheekbone for contour, and dust a little “blushbaby” over the top of the[ Read more ]
