Robyn’s in the Loop

A few months ago Robyn asked me to paint her pretty for a shoot she scheduled with Loop Photo.

I used “blackground” paint pot as my base for her dramatic smokey eye, further blackened it with “smolder” eye kohl and then brought in highlights and shading with a variety of pigments (noticeably “silver fog”) and mineralise eye-shadow from MAC in “CinderFella”

Robyn is not only a wonderful and intelligent actress, but as you can see from these photos she is also smoking hot.

Chantelle

Chantelle models an evening look for a shoot with Luba – a stock photographer. Luba asked for an evening “glam smokey eye”.

Main Make-Up Ingredients: MAC Kohl Pencil in “smolder” , pigments in “dark soul” and “silver fog”.

Pro Tip: With a smokey eye, or any dark or dramatic eye make-up, always apply the eye make-up first and then the foundation after. That way you can wipe any “drop-down” (pigment or eye-shadow falling around the eye or onto the top of the cheekbone) rather than trying to brush it away and then having to re-do your foundation or concealer.
