This is my favorite photograph from the Calendar series Deborah and I created with Elms Koortzen. Debs claims it to be a complete accident, a work of chance as she took it casually, her hands and her camera far from her face as we exited my apartment. I love the angle, the lines of the building, and Deb’s P.P. work is out of this world.

FHM/GQ style shoot for stock. Camilla is beautiful.
To work with the soft natural light, I used a combination of the following products to give her that gentle sexy glow.
Make-Up main ingredients: MAC eyeshadow “Mythology”, “Shroom” and MAC Pigments “Vanilla” and “Tan“. Face and Body Foundation. Kohl Pencil in “Teddy“.

"Yardley"
Posted by Samantha Laura Kaye in Beauty on August 9, 2009
Rob wanted a nice clean “Yardley” digestible sort of make-up look. I went for purple – soft purple is so very very Yardley in my mind. Purple is also used in a lot of “those” ads as purple’s one of those colours that suit most people and accentuate most eye colours.
Main make-up ingredients: MAC eyeshadow in “beautiful iris” and “parfait amour“, MAC pro lash mascara and MAC Studio Fix Fluid on her skin.

Canary Yellow Silk and Chelsea L

Robert and I were asked to provide some fresh “mature” images for Chelsea’s book – she’s moving from “teen” to “woman” and needed her portfolio to reflect this. Cally Palmer brought this amazing canary yellow silk Gavin Rajah gown which caught the light beautifully! We kept her skin, hair and make-up very fresh and light.
